This grassroots project was born out of the knowledge that the people of this world are peace loving, caring people, who don’t want conflict or war. Perhaps we can reach out to each other and make connections. Let’s make friends, one person at a time!

Promote peace and understanding! Put together a package or two at home, at school, with family, friends; at your club meetings or religious organizations. Send your messages to people around the world, to your government leaders & representatives, schools, hospitals, sister city projects, peace organizations... to anyone!

Click on each of the images to the right to print out worksheets and create your own messages of peace. Color, address and assemble an envelope. The words on the four inserts are your "seeds of peace". Color them, cut them out and put them in the envelope. If you think of other seeds (such as hope, caring, etc.) add a few more drawings to your packet.

Seal your Seeds of Peace envelope, put on a regular stamp and mail. The post office will accept these packets. Promote peace, one person at a time!
